Who we are

Sentra Intelligence (“Sentra”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. If you have questions or wish to exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@sentraintelligence.com.

02

Data we collect

  • Account data — your name and email address, and the credentials you use to sign in.
  • Membership & billing data — your subscription status and billing records. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we receive confirmation and limited details (such as the last four digits and card type) but do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data — how you interact with the Service, including pages viewed, briefings opened, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Communications — messages you send us and your contact and marketing preferences.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, special-category personal data. The market filings Sentra analyses are public records about companies and their officers — not data we collect about you.

03

How we use it

  • to provide, maintain, and personalise access to the Service;
  • to process membership, billing, and renewals;
  • to send service messages and, where permitted, updates about Sentra (you can opt out at any time);
  • to understand and improve how the Service is used, and to develop new features;
  • to keep the Service secure and to detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse;
  • to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
04

Legal bases

Where UK and EU data-protection law applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you sign up for); legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Service, balanced against your rights); consent (for non-essential cookies and optional marketing, which you may withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (to meet tax, accounting, and other legal requirements).

05

Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies are required to sign in and keep the Service working. Analytics cookies, used only with your consent, help us understand aggregate usage so we can improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, our cookie controls. Declining non-essential cookies will not prevent you from using the core Service.

06

How we share data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract — for example payment processing, hosting, email delivery, and analytics;
  • Authorities or advisers where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect our rights, users, or the public;
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
07

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out here — for the life of your account and afterwards as needed to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

08

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data; to object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email privacy@sentraintelligence.com. If you are in the UK or EU and believe we have not handled your data properly, you may also complain to your data-protection supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

09

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and the use of reputable processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10

International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside your country. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses — to ensure your data remains protected.

11

Children

The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be signalled by updating the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13
